Nuestro viaje de aniversario terminó demasiado pronto, sin embargo fue el tiempo justo que necesitábamos para desconectarnos y embarcarnos en un fin de semana romántico y relajado. Ahora, después de haber vuelto a la realidad y estar “al día” con los pendientes (es increíble como se junta el trabajo en tan poco tiempo), finalmente pude descargar las fotos… ¡hay tanto que compartir!
Our anniversary getaway ended too soon, and yet, two days is all we needed to disconnect ourselves and enjoy a romantic and relaxed weedend. Now, back to reality and facing an ever-growing to-do list (it’s amazing how much work accumulates in such a little time), I finally got the chance to organize the photos. There’s so much to share!
Para nuestro cuarto aniversario escogimos visitar Guanajuato. Es increíble pensar que fue apenas hace un año cuando visitamos San Miguel de Allende (a tan solo media hora de Guanajuato), y tan pronto volvimos. No es para menos. El estado de Guanajuato es una joya en cuanto a ciudades y pueblos coloniales, y la ciudad de Guanajuato nos encantó, con sus edificios coloniales y sus intricados callejones.
For our 4th anniversary, we chose Guanajuato. It’s amazing to think it was only a year ago when we visited San Miguel de Allende (just 1/2 hour away), and we came back so soon. It’s just that Guanajuato state is such a jewel regarding colonial towns and cities, and Guanajuato city is lovely, with it’s beautiful buildings, houses and intricate tiny streets.
Una de las tantas cosas bonitas de este viaje, fue que tuve la oportunidad de conocer a Patti, del blog Why Not Mexico. Patti y yo teníamos tiempo siendo amigas a través de nuestros blogs, así que fue increíble darme cuenta de que Patti es aún más linda de lo que la imaginaba. Pasamos un excelente rato con ella y además tuvo el detalle de hacernos buenísimas recomendaciones, que hicieron el viaje aún mejor.
One of the many sweet things about this trip was I had the chance to meet with Patti, from Why Not Mexico. Patti and I had been blog friends, so it was amazing to know her and realize she is even nicer than I though she’d be. We spent a great time with her, plus she gave us excellent tips for our stay in Guanajuato.
